Set in the heart of Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium is the largest stadium in Scotland and one of the UK’s most recognisable sporting venues - with a capacity of 67,144. The early evening fixture offers Magpies fans a standout summer away day in the Scottish capital, as match day coincides with the world‑famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

FAQs

Please be mindful that you cannot email the club to communicate any ticket transfer requests. Ticket transfer is done the same way as home tickets can be transferred and steps on how to do this can be found here How to transfer a ticket? Ticket Transfer opens 72 hours prior to kick-off and closes 5 hours before kick-off.

If your away match ticket has not arrived, you can collect a duplicate ticket from the opposing team’s ticket office.

The box office at St. James’ Park are unable to print tickets to be used at other grounds.

To request a duplicate ticket please contact our box office team via telephone on 0344 372 1892 10am-5pm Monday to Friday.

If you do need to collect a ticket, please be aware you will be required to provide photo identification upon collection.

If you can no longer attend please telephone our box office on 0344 372 1892. Please note we will not accept notification via email.We can provide you with a refund if we are notified up to 72 hours before the fixture by the named ticket holder and have the physical ticket returned to the club.

If you are experiencing any issues with your away ticket you can visit the ticket office at the opposing team's ground. The opposing club will also have direct contact through to a Newcastle United member of staff so someone from the club can help if you are unable to resolve your issue with the home club.

Alternatively we will have a dedicated member of staff located at St. James' Park who you can contact on 0191 201 8458 from 3hours prior to Kick Off of any away fixture. (For example, for a 3pm kick off the number will be live from 12 noon until 3pm)
