For the seventh game in succession, Newcastle United will field an unchanged side for their Premier League game at Aston Villa on Saturday (kick-off 5:30pm BST).

The Magpies - who will again be led by Jason Tindall and Graeme Jones in the absence of Eddie Howe, who continues his recovery from illness - have been on a superb winning run which has seen them win their last six games.

They were unchanged for those six matches and will now go in search of a seventh straight victory at Villa with no alterations to their line-up, meaning Nick Pope continues in goal behind a back four of Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schär, Dan Burn and Tino Livramento.

Sandro Tonali is in midfield alongside captain Bruno Guimarães and Joelinton, while further forward the in-form wingers Jacob Murphy and Harvey Barnes will provide support for frontman Alexander Isak.

There are plenty of attacking options on the bench, with Anthony Gordon, Callum Wilson and Will Osula all named, with midfield triumvirate Sean Longstaff, Lewis Miley and Joe Willock also included.

Emil Krafth and Matt Targett provide defensive backup, while Martin Dúbravka is the substitute goalkeeper.
