Capped five times by his country at senior level, representing the Socceroos at the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar, the highly-rated youngster made his Magpies debut against Tottenham Hotspur at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) following a tour of Australia at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
Born in Cairo before settling in Shepparton, Victoria, Kuol is the youngest player to play for Australia at a World Cup and also became the youngest player to feature in a World Cup knockout match since Pelé in 1958 at the tender age of 18.
The Australian forward spent the remainder of the 2022/23 season on loan at Scottish Premiership outfit Heart of Midlothian before carrying out a season-long loan with Eredivisie side FC Volendam the following term.
Kuol completed a positive campaign with Newcastle's under-21s side during the second-half of the 2024/25 season, scoring eight times across all competitions as well as being shortlisted for April's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
