Newcastle United Under-18s have been handed a home tie against Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.

Chris Moore's side booked their place in round four of the prestigious youth competition last week following an impressive 5-2 win against Portsmouth, with Matheos Ferreira's hat-trick and Michael Mills' brace sealing an emphatic third round victory.

Their reward is a home draw against Crystal Palace, who claimed a 6-0 victory against Accrington Stanley in the previous round.

The young Magpies have won the competition twice in their history after tasting success in 1962 before a side including Geordie midfielder Paul Gascoigne, lifted the cup in 1985.

A date, venue and kick-off time will be confirmed on newcastleunited.com in due course, with all ties scheduled to be completed by Saturday, 24th January 2026.

At this stage of the competition, when a match is drawn after 90 minutes, an extra 30 minutes of extra time shall be played (15 minutes in each half). If the score remains level after extra time, the winner shall be determined by a penalty shoot-out.
