The on-loan Southampton stopper produced a number of fine saves to help the Magpies record a 2-1 win over Manchester United at St. James' Park, which was sealed by Will Osula's last-gasp winner.
And one stop from the England international - who dived to his left to tip over Joshua Zirkzee's 25-yarder at full stretch - has earned him a nomination for the monthly gong.
Ramsdale is shortlisted alongside David Raya of Arsenal, Jordan Pickford of Everton and Guglielmo Vicario of Tottenham Hotspur.
Aston Villa's Emi Martínez and Sunderland's Melker Ellborg are also in the running.
