Our guide to the summer's international action that involves members of the Newcastle United Women squad...

Lois Joel

United's Joel has been included in Wales' squad for their final two UEFA Women's Nations League games.

Denmark are first up for Rhian Wilkinson's side at the Nature Energy Park in Odense on Friday, 30th May (kick-off 6:15pm BST) followed by a home game against Italy at the Swansea.com Stadium on Tuesday, 3rd June (kick-off 6:30pm BST).

On Thursday, Wilkinson will then name the players she has picked for this summer's UEFA Women's EURO 2025 tournament in Switzerland at a media briefing on Wyddfa, Wales' highest summit.

And former West Ham and London City Lionesses star Joel will hope to be among those selected for what would be the 25-year-old's first major international tournament.

Emily Murphy

Young forward Murphy - who was nominated for the Barclays Women's Championship Rising Star award at last week's Women's Professional Game Awards - is part of the Republic of Ireland squad for their remaining UEFA Women's Nations League games against Türkiye and Slovenia.

Carla Ward's team face Türkiye at the Esenler Erok Stadium in Istanbul on Friday, 30th May (kick-off 6pm BST) before returning to Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork to play Slovenia on Tuesday, 3rd June (kick-off 6pm BST).

Rachel Furness

Experienced midfielder Furness is back in the Northern Ireland fold, having initially been put on standby for their back-to-back UEFA Women's Nations League clashes with Romania in April before being included in the squad for the latter of those two games - a 1-0 home win.

The 36-year-old - her country's all-time leading goalscorer - didn't make it off the bench in that game but she has now been named in Tanya Oxtoby's squad for their games against Poland and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the same competition.

Northern Ireland face Poland at Seaview in Belfast on Friday, 30th May (kick-off 7pm BST) before taking on Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zenica on Tuesday, 3rd June (kick-off 6pm BST) as they wrap up their Group B1 campaign.

Furness currently has 95 caps and 38 goals for her country.

Shania Hayles

The Magpies' leading goalscorer last term has been rewarded for her fine recent form with a call-up to the Jamaica squad that will face the USA in a friendly next month.

The Reggae Girlz face the star-studded States side at Energiser Park in Missouri, where Hayles will hope to win her fourth international cap.

Freya Gregory

Magpies forward Gregory is part of the Scotland squad for their UEFA Women's Nations League fixtures against Austria and the Netherlands later this month.

Melissa Andreatta's side face Austria at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Friday, 30th May with kick-off set for 7:35pm BST, before heading to the Koning Willem II Stadion in Tilburg to play the Netherlands on Tuesday, 3rd June, with that one kicking off at 8:30pm CET.

The former England youth international currently has two senior Scotland caps to her name, having made her international debut in February.

Charlotte Wardlaw

Former Chelsea defender Wardlaw has been included in the Scotland Under-23 squad that will face Iceland in successive international challenge matches.

Both games will take place at the Falkirk Stadium and will kick-off at 3pm BST on Thursday, 29th May and Monday, 2nd June.

Wardlaw switched her international allegiance to Scotland earlier this year, having previously represented England at youth level.
