Women. Newcastle United Women to take part in drinking in the bowl pilot

Newcastle United Women home fixtures at Kingston Park will see supporters able to drink alcohol in the stands as part of a pilot scheme during the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

Alongside fellow Barclay's Women's Championship outfits Birmingham City, Bristol City and Southampton, the club will take part in the trial as the Women's Professional League Limited (WPLL) continues to look at ways to improve the matchday experience of fans.

The Newcastle United Women fixtures included in the pilot are as follows:

• v Portsmouth Women (Sunday, 26th January)

• v Bristol City Women (Sunday, 2nd March)

• v London City Lionesses (Sunday, 30th March)

• v Birmingham City Women (Sunday, 27th April)

• v Blackburn Rovers Women (date TBC)
