The 26-year-old's looping effort from the right flank opened the scoring in the Magpies' 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town last month, with Lumsden's strike sailing over goalkeeper Natalia Negri to give the hosts the lead at Gateshead International Stadium.

She is up for the award alongside Sophie Peskett, who netted an equaliser for Ipswich in the same game, as well as Ashleigh Weerden of Crystal Palace, Lucy Watson of Durham and Lucy Fitzgerald and Karin Muya of Charlton Athletic.

Voting will go live at 1pm GMT on Monday, 2nd March, with voting set to close at 10am GMT on Wednesday, 4th March.
