Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak has been nominated for the 2024/25 PFA Players' Player of the Year award.

The Swedish frontman secures his first nomination for the prize after a goal-laden season for the Magpies, scoring 23 Premier League goals as well as helping United secure their first major domestic trophy since 1955 after netting in March's Carabao Cup final triumph over Liverpool at Wembley Stadium.

The 25-year-old features in the Top Six shortlist alongside Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Alexis Mac Allister, Cole Palmer of Chelsea, Arsenal's Declan Rice and Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United.

All PFA Awards nominees are voted for by the PFA's Membership - the players - and the winner will be honoured on Tuesday, 19th August at the 52nd annual PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester.
