A date and venue has been confirmed for Newcastle United Under-19s' opening 2025/26 UEFA Youth League fixture at home to FC Barcelona.

The Toon teenagers will face the defending champions at Whitley Park on Thursday, 18th September, with kick-off set at 3pm (BST).

The Magpies’ under-19s return to the competition in 2025/26, which will mirror the new format of the UEFA Champions League with an initial 36-team league phase.

They will, however, play just the first six parallel fixtures in the Youth League league phase, in contrast to the eight matches contested in the Champions League.
